Professional experience:
Since 2019, Vadym has been an advisor to the Minister of Finance of Ukraine on economic recovery and development. In 2024, he joined the working group of the International Trade Council of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
Vadym holds a PhD in Economics and has been studying for his doctorate at the State University of Trade and Economics since early 2024.
In 2019-2022, Vadym was the head of the economic department of the NGO Strategic Group “Sophia”, participated in and coordinated research aimed at restoring the territories of eastern Ukraine affected by military operations. He developed proposals for reforming the political system of Ukraine, creating the basis for the restoration of the state reserve system, river transport, the energy system of Ukraine, etc.
In 2014-2019, Vadym worked at the New Ukraine Institute for Strategic Studies as an expert on economic issues. He was responsible for the development of
documents of various formats on economic development at the regional and national levels; macroeconomic analysis; analysis of economic initiatives of the Government and the NBU; analysis of the dynamics of Ukrainian export markets; analysis of economic dynamics in the energy, metallurgy, housing and communal services, agriculture, engineering; analysis of political and economic processes at the regional level, etc.
In 2011-2013, he was an analyst at the Coordination Center for Economic Reforms (a project of the McKinsey consulting company). He was engaged in sectoral analysis in the areas of energy, housing and utilities, finance and macroeconomics.
In 2008-2011, he worked as a financial and investment analyst at Rurik Investment and TASK-Invest.
In 2006-2008, he worked as an expert at the Department of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Strategy for the Development of Financial Services Markets of the State Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets.
