An international economist by profession, Olena has over 20 years of experience working in international and Ukrainian companies
(UniCredit Group, Midland Group, Ukrainian group of companies ‘Khlibodar’) and the public sector.

Professional experience:
She has devoted the last nine years of her career to the public sector, where she has participated in or directly managed a number of national and international projects for
the European Parliament, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the Ministry of Finance, international donor organisations (USAID, GIZ, WNISEF), the Centre for the Promotion of Imports of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands (CBI), and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, including:


Strategic vision for the future of the EU and Ukraine until 2035;
Analysis of the main problems faced by Ukrainian exporters since the start of the war and recommendations for solving them;
Development of a concept and recommendations for revising the terms of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between Ukraine and the European Union. Analysis of the trade and economic consequences of various scenarios for revising the DCFTA;
Analysis of the trade and economic consequences of signing a free trade agreement between Ukraine and the United Kingdom;
Ukraine’s national export strategy: Roadmap for strategic trade development for 2017-2021;
Research on the export potential of the central and western regions of Ukraine;
Development of a draft law on the creation of an export insurance agency;
Research on value chains with the greatest export potential in bilateral trade between Ukraine and EU/EFTA countries, etc.


Alongside its expert and research work, it is directly involved in promoting the interests of Ukrainian producers on the international stage, particularly in the EU, Africa and South America.
