The National Export Strategy of Ukraine until 2030 is a project (programme) of international technical assistance “Application and Implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in the Field of Trade” (project proposal title: “TIPSTER: Trade, Intellectual Property Support and Technical Regulation”), with financial support from the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union, implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Project registration card No. 4545-12 dated 03.07.2024 (Project implementation period: 01.06.2020 – 31.07.2025).

The aim of preparing the National Strategy is to develop a document that would reveal Ukraine’s potential in the field of export development of goods and services. The document covers such aspects as:
- establishment of a working group to develop a strategy
- analysis of the current situation
- identifying opportunities and obstacles for the development of Ukrainian exports
- defining strategic priorities for export development
- verification of the data obtained, hypotheses proposed and recommendations
- development of a strategic framework for the development of Ukraine’s exports
- developing a plan of measures for the development of Ukraine’s exports
- public discussions of the draft strategy with stakeholders
- approval of the strategy by a decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine
